A video of Dr OP Choudhary, the Chairman of the Animal Welfare Board of India has gone viral on social media. In the video he is seen to be praising the caregivers and the NGOs who are working for the helpless animals and birds of India. According to him our constitution asks every individual to be kind and caring towards animals. Also this is very much in sync with the Indian culture. He further said that people and organizations who are taking care of the helpless animals and feed them on regular basis are indeed doing a commendable job. All Indians should respect such people and support them. The chairman made special reference to Vedanta and PFA and appreciated the work being done by them towards this noble cause. It's really nice that the Chairman of the Animal Welfare Board of India has come out in open and spoken for the voiceless and for the people who are working for them. But this needs to reach to the masses. Unless they listen especially those who beat and torture the mute animals and stop caregivers from feeding them nothing much can happen. Such people with sick mindset will keep torturing the animals and harassing the caregivers.
Wonder when will our Chief Ministers, Ministers, Councilors and Mayors speak for the animals and the caregivers? Unfortunately the animals cannot vote and the caregivers have a minority vote. Is that why our leaders don't speak for them?
Well dogs are still being killed and caregivers still being harassed.
A female dog was killed by a man in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. He tied the limbs of the dogs, beat her up and dragged her on the road. She was a lactating mother who was quite weak and malnourished. Her five pups are still alive and the colony people are taking care of her. To know more about the incident kindly go on the link below:

A man in Indore killed a dog just because he picked up a piece of mutton which the man had prepared for his consumption. Just imagine a piece of mutton cost the dog his life. What level have we humans stooped to? Indian culture speaks about feeding the hungry and here a man killed a hungry animal for a piece of mutton.....

It seems people take out all their personal frustration on these poor animals. Actually such people should be either staying in mental asylum or in a prison.
A caregiver who stays in DLF Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh is constantly harassed and threatened by a lawyer. The caregiver along with her brother feed around 12 dogs but they are being stopped from feeding the dogs. The lawyer has threatened to even kill the dogs. The caregiver and her brother feel absolutely helpless and scared. To read the categiver's agony kindly go on the link below:

At least lawyers should abide by law. What punishment should be given to such lawyers????
