When will all this cruelty stop? When will the schools and colleges start teaching their students compassion towards animals. The voiceless animals feel pain just the way we humans do with the only difference that they suffer in silence and we suffer in voice. Just few days back we saw a video where on Diwali day two young boys had tied crackers to the tail of a dog and then tried to burn the cracker.

Legal action has been taken against the two boys.
Another incident has come to light where few men tied crackers at the back of a hen and burnt it. Just watch the helpless hen and the inhuman and insane men who enjoyed the pain and suffering of the hen.

If only these men were taught in school not to treat animals the way they are treating then probably such incidents would not have happened. Majority of the Indians do not know that such acts are inhuman and that they are punishable offences. Unfortunately the prevention of cruelty to animals act 1960 could never reach the masses.
A pomeranian dog was killed by a man who is the son of a retired heath officer of the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation in Madhya Pradesh. While playing with the dog the 18 month old grandson of the officer sustained some scratch marks on the skin from the dog. This angered the uncle of the child who two days later killed the dog by firing bullets from his licensed pistol on the dog. The dog died within 15 minutes. A petition has been started to punish this man.
Just outside an Army officers colony in Banagalore five month old pups were found dead (Pic in the post). They used to live inside the premises of the Colony. The pups were buried but soon the animal right activists took them out and send their bodies for a postmortem. They definitely didn't die a natural death.

A video is going viral where a dog has been tied up and beaten to death by a mob in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Apparently the mob declared the dog rabid and this is how they got rid of him. What was the municipal corporation of Ahmedabad doing and what is the police doing? The reporter told that the police took no action against the culprits:

The woes of the caregivers doesn't seem to come to an end. A lady in Sonipat had to protect a dog mother and her young babies from her neighbours who were up in arms against the dogs. To watch how a single caregiver has to fight against a majority of dog haters kindly go on the link below:

There are innumerable caregivers and their dogs who are suffering in pain in India. Their cases are neither reported nor recorded anywhere. Many dogs die a silent death and their caregivers cry in isolation feeling helpless and defeated.
