Maharashtra seems to be in the race for cruelty against the man's best friend and if its not stopped then the day is not far when it will win the trophy.
Around 100 dogs are missing and dead in Ratnagiri in Maharashtra. 80 of them have been poisoned. The caregivers are shocked and just can't believe their eyes. How can 100 dogs meet such a fate. Because few dog haters cannot dare to kill dogs in such large numbers. The district animal welfare officer Sainiket Wareker and the interim coordinator of Aam Aadmi Party Jyotiprabha Patil are filing a petition with the high court against the illegal killings of the dogs. In their petition they have mentioned several points and one of the points is regarding the promises made by the ruling party leaders during election time in 2016 where they promised to control dog population of their area. Well its again election time and it seems they did nothing to control dog population. There is no ABC unit and there is no infrastructure where the dogs can be sterilized. So obviously dogs have only multiplied over the years. So is this mass murder to woo their voters again?

The Parbhani Municipal Corporation in Maharashtra is catching dogs in the most ruthless manner. Don't know if they are taking the dog for relocation or sterilization. But the way they have caught the dog he will definitely reach heaven. The caregivers are trying to stop these men from catching the dog as relocation is illegal. They tried to call the commissioner but don't know if they reached him.
God knows when will all this cruelty stop in India? Why are our municipal corporations which are govt bodies not stopping this mayhem.

Acid was thrown on a dog and kittens were thrown in a gutter in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. FIR has been lodged. The dog is out of danger and is being given medical treatment.

A dog was thrown from a bridge into a river at night in West Bengal. Don't really know if the dog survived or not but his pain, trauma and agony was fun and enjoyment for the men who held him in their hands and threw him so mercilessly. The dog not only suffered physical trauma but also emotional pain. These men broke his trust. A dog which allowed these monsters to hold him in their hands definitely trusted them and look what these devils did to his trust.........
If at all the dog has survived then will he ever trust we humans again? What if he bites a human? Which he may by all likelihood. Then we humans will label him as rabid and beat him with rods and sticks till he is dead. Whether the dog is friendly or is hostile in both the cases it is he who suffers and we humans are his tormentors.
