India was still coming out of Bruno's untimely and cruel death when another dog cruelty has surfaced and is doing rounds on social media.

This time the cruelty has been done by the Mandsaur Municipal Corporation employees. They were asked to pick up the dogs of Mandsaur city.

Dogs can only be picked up for sterilisation but unfortunately majority of the municipal corporations are not following this very important rule.

The dogs of Mandsaur were picked up for relocation. Why were they being relocated?

Was it a part of cleanliness drive? Because we have seen in the past how dogs have been treated as filth and dirt and been picked up and dumped in the garbage picking trucks. Here too the employees had got a garbage picking truck to dump the dogs in the truck.

Or was the action taken by the corporation after residents complained about dogs in their area? Because in many parts of India corporations pick up dogs and then kill them or relocate them in a different area just to please the residents.

What triggered this kind of atrocity in Mandsaur one has to find out:

Watch the poor female dog who is bleeding from mouth ( mouth tied) and lying in a semi dead state. And her tormentors are no one else but Govt employees.

One can see how a caregiver is telling these morons that the dog is very friendly and she need not be picked up in such a brutal fashion. And he is also asking why are they picking up the dogs????

What kind of mayors, councillors and commissioners are running the municipal corporations of India??

Bruno became the victim of enmity where his killers killed him for getting even with his owner. They were anyway arrested and later released on bail.

But what about these govt representatives (mayors, councillors and commissioners) who are a part of the govt and getting the dogs killed in the most brutal fashion. All such atrocities happen on their orders.

Will they be put behind bars?

In fact their punishment should be more severe than a common man of India who indulges in any kind of animal cruelty.

Justice Midha has given a wonderful guideline for stray dogs of Delhi but the million dollar question is that will the municipal corporation of Delhi implement these guidelines in the right spirit?

Do the mayors, councillors and commissioners who run the corporation willing to help the dogs and make their life better???

Unless our municipal corporations change their attitude towards dogs nothing much can happen.
