While the south Indian state Goverments of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka are coming out with animal.rescue ambulances their neighbour Tamil Nadu is busy relocating and killing street dogs.
As per dog rules (ABC programme) street dogs cannot be relocated or killed. They can only be sterilised and then left at their original location till they breath their last breath on the soil of India.
But these rules are flouted almost daily. And the worse it when the rules are flouted by the custodians of law. It seems the municipal corporation workers of Paramkudi in Tamil Nadu have picked up dogs on the complaint of the residents and then killed twenty of them.. Just watch the way dogs have been dumped inside the truck. Some half dead dogs are crying with pain.

People have even started a petition against this brutal and unpardonable crime. Such govt officials on whose order this brutal and illegal act took place should be put behind bars. They have no right to serve India.
If the Govt officials are openly breaking the law then how can one expect the common man of India to obey laws.
An old man and his son have relocated a dog in Chowri bazar old Delhi. This is illegal but people do it very often in the capital of India. Unfortunately neither the state Govt nor the central govt have done anything to sensitise people regarding dog rules. The most educated and the wealthiest people residing in the capital are unaware about this most important rule. The shameful part is that the ABC program is being run by the Delhi municipal corporation in the capital for the last 20 years. If the capital is in such pathetic condition then what can we say of the other states of India. Our politicians and ministers have no time for the voiceless. The bare minimum they could do was to ensure that the dog rules are being implemented in a fair and just manner. The dog rules are being flouted and the ABC program is being done in the most unsystematic and shabby manner. But the commissioners, mayors, councilors and the ministers related with the implementation of the ABC program have neither the time nor the will to do anything in this regard. There are constant fights between the caregivers and the dog haters and the dogs are either brutally killed or are illegally relocated. But our govt machinery is absolutely blind to all this.

If this is how dog population is being controlled by the people of India either by killing them or by relocating them then why on earth are we having the ABC program?????
The municipal corporations should be stopped from implementing the ABC programs. There is not a single state of India which can proudly say that they have done a good job. The ordinary man across the whole of India is unaware about these rules.
Well if the Tamil Nadu municipal corporation officials are unaware then what can we say for the ordinary man???????????
