This is an unusual case of dog cruelty in Goa. A person took a house on rent but after reaching the house with her pets the landlady refused to give the house on rent and the excuse she gave was pets. The tenant requested the landlady to just spend few hours in the house as her pets were exhausted but the landlady didn't and very soon one pet died of exhaustion and heat.  To read the sad story of the owner and her pet kindly go on the link below:

It's time we Indians learnt to respect animals. Something which our forefathers did but unfortunately we have forgotten.....

A board was seen hanging to a pole which said drive slow, with a photo of a vehicle and dogs in it (pic in the post). It clearly conveys a very good message to all the drivers driving that they better kerp their eyes open and drive with compassion because there is a life walking on the road.

The board has been put by some animal rights activists or caregivers.

When will the municipal corporation who are the custodians of dogs put such boards in every colony?

When will the traffic police and the ministry of transport put such boards on every highway and roads of India?

Are these bodies not responsible for the street animas who die almost daily on the roads of India? Most often these poor animals are crushed under the wheels of a reckless driver who has no sense of guilt or grief. There is a provision under animal law which makes such act of negligent driving a punishable offence. But do the people of India know about this law????? The million dollar question is that does the law enforcement agencies know about this law???????
