Isn't it shameful that the land of Mahatma Gandhi the father of our nation has today turned into an intolerant and violent land which is killing the voiceless without any rhyme or reason.
A 40 year old man killed 5 big dogs by poisoning them. One of which was a pregnant female. The dogs died a terrible death (pic in the post of one of the dogs). They suffered in extreme pain before dying a death which they just didn't deserve.
Kindly go on the following link to watch how the pregnant female suffered just before taking her last breath.

While cruelty towards the man's friend has not reduced in India but there is some ray of hope for these voiceless.
The Ministry of Fisheries Animal Husbandry and Dairying is now looking into the various representations it has received for making amendments in the Prevention of cruelty to animals act 1960. An act which has been in existence for almost 60 years now and which still levies a penalty of only a meagre amount of Rs. 50 for killing and torturing the voiceless. The ministry is now contemplating to bring the requisite amendments in the act.
It is quite likely that the penalty amount be increased to Rs. 75,000 with up to to 5 years in prison.
