A caregiver Aishwarya of Shahdra, East Delhi is abused and harassed by her own neighbours for feeding the dogs. The police too is not very supportive of animals and the caregivers.  Aishwarya is suffering both physically and mentally for over one year now. Kindly go on the link below and read what Aishwarya has to say about her plight. This is the plight of almost all the caregivers of India. It's not just animal cruelty but also human cruelty. Humans being cruel and nasty to humans.

This case has been reported from Ghaziabad, Khoda where the men of a family beat dogs with iron rods and sticks. They don't let any dog stay near their house and anybody who feeds them is threatened by this family. They have just no fear of law. The caregiver Neelam stays in East Delhi and goes all the way to feed them. This girl didn't even stop feeding these voiceless souls during lockdown due to Covid 19 pandemic. Kindly watch the video given in the link below and see how the dog has been beaten with rods by these barbarians. There are marks all over the body of the dog. Everyday there is a dog who is injured in this area. And it's needless to say that the injury is the result of human cruelty.

The matter has been reported to the police and the family has been warned. Let's hope now these barbarians do not beat or abuse any animal.

Five small puppies in Mhow in Madhya Pradesh were very mercilessly put in sacks and thrown somewhere. The mother of the pups Laali is crying and looking all over for her puppies. The caregivers too are looking for the puppies and trying to find out from the culprits as to where they have thrown the puppies. But the culprits are not telling anything to the caregivers. Instead they are threatening the caregivers with dire consequences. For a full report kindly go on the link below:

A lady who feeds around 300 dogs in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad has to listen to all kinds of things when she goes out to feed her four legged friends. Just watch the behaviour and facial expression of the dog haters. These people neither give a penny to feed the dogs nor they take care of the dogs when they are sick and injured but just see the way they are scolding this lady. As if they own the roads and the streets of Indirapuram. As if the lady is doing a big crime by feeding the dogs. As if all the dirt and filth of Indirapuram has been the result of her feeding the dogs. The food she has kept for the dogs to eat is nothing but filth and dirt for these people. These are the dirty minded people who have made swachtta abhiyan a weapon against the dogs and their caregivers. At least the lady sweeper thinks like that. These are the same people who remove the drinking bowls and break them when the caregiver is not around. Is it really the fault of the sweepers or have they been instructed by their superiors to think like that? How is a water bowl, food bowl or warm bedding kept for stray dogs a hindrance to swachhta abhiyan????

The life of a caregiver is not easy at all. They are suffering along with their four legged friends almost daily. Each day when they go out to feed the dogs they make themselves mentally prepared to face all kinds of challenges. Like dog haters abusing them and stopping them from feeding the dogs, dogs being injured or sick due to human cruelty, water bowls and food bowls broken or missimg, beddings (sacks and blankets)  removed and the list goes on.....

caregiver is making a huge sacrifice. A sacrifice which is neither acknowledged by the people of India nor the govt of India.

The municipal corporations can contribute so much in creating the right kind of awareness but when will they wake up from their sleep only God knows.........

Doesn't all this man-man and man-dog conflict seems to be the result of lack of awareness about dog behaviour and dog rules??????
