Around two days back in Janakpuri, Delhi three dogs were relocated. The caregivers do not know where the dogs have been dropped. The people responsible have no fear of law as they have done this before too. Kindly go on the link below to read about this incident:

A message (pic in the post) got viral on social media where the residents of an apartment / society in Delhi are making plans to get rid of the dogs in their society. Thry seem to be saying that for the last 6 months this problem of dog has not got sorted so now they better do something on their own. They are talking of hiring a man who can pick up the dogs and get them relocated. These criminal minds are talking of paying the man for this nasty task. They are also contemplating to add sedatives in dog food so that the dogs fall asleep and then they can be lifted and put in a car and then taken to a far off place and dumped there.

Thank God they didn't contemplate to poison them or kill them but what they are planning is absolutely illegal. It's not just illegal but also sinful. How can anybody just remove a living being from their homes and dump them at an unknown place to die.

These so called educated people of Delhi seem to be trying to.find a solution to dog overpopulation in their apartment but see what kind of solution they have come up with? They are ready to spend money on illegally getting the dogs removed but they can't think of spending on their sterilisation and vaccination. Why is that? Is it because they are not aware of the ABC programme? Or they like the short cut better?

The problem in Delhi and the rest of the India is that majority of its population do not know about the ABC programme and the laws relating to stray dogs. There are caregivers and RWAs who don't even know which ABC unit is to be contacted for dog sterilisation of their area.

What is the municipal corporation waiting for?

Waiting for more dog killings, dog relocations, dog overpopulation, caregivers being killed and NGOs being  punched by the dog haters.......

What stops the corporations from making awareness about this most important dog rule that dogs cannot be relocated and they can only be sterilised and anybody found in relocating dogs or killing them shall be punished.

How long will the caregivers and NGOs keep fighting for the rights of their furry friends?

When will the govt machinery wake up from their unending sleep
