Indore was recently in news for being a dog friendly city but see now what is happening. It's turning out to be a hell for dogs.
Just few days back a journalist was found killing dogs on railway tracks. Yesterday a female pup was beaten to death by a 40 year old man who hit her with an iron rod on her head. According to the caregiver Mamta Tiwari the man used to hate dogs. He hated them because of their barking. Just one blow on the head of the pup was enough to put her to rest forever. Kindly go on the following link to watch the video of the innocent pup who didn't deserve to die so soon.

The PFA Indore Head Priyanshu Jain has asked for the postmortem of the pup and thereafter FIR will be lodged against the culprit.
In another tragic incident 5 dogs (one mother and her four pups) were relocated in the city of Indore. About three months back a female dog delivered pups in Vijay Nagar, Sajan Prabha Garden. The garden is used to hold functions like marriages, parties etc. but due to lockdown the place was not being used. The caregivers Sagar Chauhan and Bhavna used to feed the dogs as the mother had delivered the babies there. But on 6th July 2020 the dogs went missing. When they enquired from the employees of the garden they told that the dogs have been relocated. A police complaint has been lodged and the caregivers are looking for the dogs everywhere. Out of the four pups two have been found and two are still missing including the mother. Just how can people be so ruthless one fails to understand. Although the crime against dogs has not come down but the good thing about the city of Indore is that the caregivers are coming forward to punish the guilty. Probably the efforts of PFA Indore and the Dogitization campaign has made the caregivers aware about their rights and the rights of their furry friends.
On 5th July 2020 it was reported that a dog was mercilessly dragged by a car to which the dog was tied to. This act of barbarism took place in Talanagri Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh). The Associate Manager, Emergency Rescue Team, Peta India, Meet Ashar was contacted by the reporter and was asked to look into the matter. Meet has spoken to the police authorities of Aligarh to file an FIR against the perpetrator. Go to the following link read about the details of the case and to watch the barbaric act:

Nothing can be more cruel than what happened on 5th July in a village in Patiala, Punjab. A female dog gave birth to four pups and on the very next day a man and his mother killed the dog. They killed her by tying her to a bike and dragged her till she died and then threw her dead body into a pond (pic in the post). Now what can be more barbaric than this? The pups are now in safe custody and an FIR has been lodged against the culprits. To read about the case kindly go on the link below:

Where is India heading to? And when will our govt sensitize people about dog rules that killing them and relocating them is a crime? Just how many more murders and cruelties?
