While the Govt is doing nothing much for the welfare of stray animals except making obnoxious rabies awareness, the caregivers on the other hand are making  the life of their four legged friends better by doing whatever possible within their reach and capacity.

Recently we shared the wonderful work being done by the Animal Water Bowl Project (AWBP) in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. On very similar lines the Ghaziabad Animal Welfare led by Harry Chowdhary is also trying to quench the thirst  of their four legged friends. They are installing water bowls for the street animals (pic in the post). They are doing it in Ghaziabad and have called their campaign 'Water bowls for stray animals in Ghaziabad'. They are also distributing the bowls for free to caregivers who are picking up the bowls from adjoining areas of east delhi and Noida. Kindly go on the following link to read about their campaign:

Very similar is the campaign started by Vishwanath Sharma ( M - 8700613677) in Ghaziabad. He is also distributing free water bowls to the caregivers. People from Delhi and Noida are picking up the bowls from him for free.

These are the bravehearts of Ghaziabad whose municipal.corporation, administration and the residents have never supported them in their noble deeds of feeding and taking care of their four legged Friend. But they have never given up and continue fighting against all odds.

Right parenting is very important for producing responsible and good citizens. Unfortunately the young children of India are neither taught by their parents nor their teachers how to behave with dogs. They are only told to mantain distance from dogs as they may bite. And the result is right in front of us.

Caregivers Payal and Ridh Sona are an exception. Both husband and wife are teaching their child to love dogs. To feed them  and to love them unconditionally and passionately as they do to us. Watch the  beautiful video:

Wish all parents were like Payal and Ridh Son

Sneha (M- 9999151328) a young girl of Delhi could not bare the sight of the dogs being picked up for sterilization using loops. The entire catching process is quite tormenting and torturous for the dog. Many times blood comes out of the mouth of the dog. So to avoid it, this girl with a golden heart has donated her family car for ferrying the dogs to the sterilization centres. The caregivers are approaching her to send their dogs for sterilization. No professional dog catchers are required here and no loop. Just the loving arms of the caregiver which picks up the dog and puts him in the comfortable seats of the car. The dog is so relaxed and so is his caregiver.

Hari Shanker Singh ( M- 8750007111) a resident of East Delhi has started a campain called " Two Chapattis Four Feet' which literally means spare just two chapattis for the four legged beings whether it be dogs, cats or cattle. Wish everybody in India could do this then we could easily beat the problem of starvation. To know about the good work Hari Shanker Singh and his Minta Devi Foundation is doing kindly go on the link below:

When will the Municipal.corporations and animal welfare Govt bodies start thinking on these lines?????

When will they actually start taking such initiatives for the welfare of street animals?
