An advocate killed a dog mercilessly just because the dog had entered his house. The dog was beaten with a bamboo stick and an iron spade. The consolation is that the advocate, his family and a house help have been booked for this crime.. For the details of the report kindly go on the link below:

In another horrible incident a leopard was killed by villagers in Guwahati in Assam. According to the forest dept. The leopard was eight years old and was quite weak. .He was hungry as he had not eaten anything for past few days. He probably went to the village to take refuge but the villagers chased him to the forest and killed him. They lynched him and broke all his teeth. The tiger had not harmed anybody not provoked anybody yet the villagers killed him. After killing him they celebrated by taking out a procession with his dead body.

Six people have been arrested out of which one is a minor.

What has gone wrong with our society and our policy makers? Our Indian society which was renowned for its non violence and tolerance seems to have become a leader in violence and intolerance towards animals.

According to the forest dept in the past few days many leopards have been killed. One of them.wss run over by a vehicle. Due to rapid pace of development which is taking place ini that area such incidents have become quite common .kindly go on the following link to read the full report:

Why did the pregnant elephant in Kerala or the old and weak leopard in Assam go into the village? Why are wild boars going into the villages of Kerala and Himachal Pradesh?

HUNGER

And what do they get  in return  from the villagers?

DEATH

India is definitely not on the path of development. It is on the path of self destruction.
