The media in India has not been very responsible. The rumours about dogs and cats spreading COVID - 19 went viral and many media houses only added up in spreading this rumour far and wide. 

While most of them just stopped running these rumours but NDTV made an exception. 

It's founder and world renowned journalist Prannoy Roy came on television and told the people of India that dogs and cats do not spread COVID-19. Kindly go on the link to see the video:

The Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has also in a statement told that domesticated animals like dogs and cats do not spread the virus to humans so kindly do not abandon them..For full report kindly go on the link below:

Wish more media houses and ministers of India told  people not to abandon and harm the animals as they don't spread the virus. 

Well! The dog and cat abandonment and cruelty has still not stopped but the incidence has certainly reduced. Thanks to the unacknowledged COVID warriors who have fought at every step to save the lives of these voiceless right from enemies like starvation to human hands ready to kill them, abandon them and torture them.  

While everybody is speaking about how COVID - 19 is affecting humans but not much is being spoken about how this has brought a man made disaster in the lives of these voiceless souls and their feeders who are constantly being harassed by their own neighbours, RWAs and even police at some places.

It's very unfortunate that instead of man becoming more compassionate and kind during the COVID -19 pandemic, he has actually become very selfish and cruel.

COVID - 19 is nature's weapon against man as it is not harming animals so why is  man still blind and not seeing his folly. 

We cannot defeat COVID-19 without Compassion. 

Compassion and Caution are the only two tools to win this battle.
