Nothing can be more inhuman and cruel than the incident which took place on 11th April 2020 in Gurugram ( Delhi NCR- Haryana).

This was the message which went viral on various WhatsApp animal groups ( message forwarded by Vinita 9650725353 on Save animal WhatsApp group).

"There is blatant violation of law in the video by Mr. Anil Yadav who can be seen directing MCG staff - incidentally he is the husband of BJP Gurgaon Sushant Lok-1 Councilor Ward 32 Mrs. Aarti Yadav who should be following the law and protecting citizens and animals.
In the enclosed video - a number of dogs have been picked up and brutally put in sacks – this incident happened this morning on April 11th, 2020. This incident has happened in-front of Spencer’s in C Block Sushant Lok Phase 1, Gurgaon. In the view MCG staff are in attendance to Mr. Anil Yadav.
Kindly take necessary action and help in getting these animals rescued and saved. Also, the MCG staff should be directed not to take part in such actions that contravene the directions of the High Court and Supreme Court"

Anil Yadav who is the Sarpanch and Sunita Yadav the deputy mayor of Gurugram municipal corporation exercised their power by getting the stray dogs picked in the most cruel fashion and getting them removed. This act is not permissable by law but they got it done

What made them do it?

Was it because they also think that dogs spread COVID 19 so it's  better to get them removed from human habitation?

'Or they did it because they were feeling bored sitting at home and wanted to come out and exercise their power?

In any case this is how these politicians are adhering to the lockdown in India.

According to the latest updates. The dogs have been brought back and Anil Yadav has written a letter of apology.

But is that sufficient? An apology letter?

While the stray animals in India are already facing hunger and thirst due to lockdown. Such monstrous behaviour that too from councillors and mayors only adds to their agony. And this only shows what kind of politicians run the government.

Politicians of India if you cannot feed the stray animals or say a few kind words for them then at least do not use your authority and power to torture them
