There is a need for all in the world to have a clear understanding about COVID 19 virus. 

According to WHO Coronavirus are a large family of viruses that are known to cause illnesses ranging from.common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). 

A novel coronavirus (CoV) is a new stream of Corona virus that has not been identified in humans earlier. It is believed that SARS was transmitted from Civet cats to humans in China in 2002 and MERS from dromedary camels to humans in Saudi Arabia in 2012. 

There is still no evidence as to how the COVID 19 virus has got transmitted into humans but it is believed that its source has been the live animal market in Wuhan, China. And now reports are coming that China is again opening its wet markets. It may be doing to protect the livelihood of thousands of people who depend on animals and their life for human survival. But is it worth it? China has risked the whole world because of its inhuman and cruel markets. It's time it bans this mayhem and save human life otherwise the day is not far when humans will become an endangered species or may completely be wiped off from this planet.

There are a lot of myths which have been spread with pets spreading COVID 19 into humans and because of that many in India have abandoned their pets. 

The truth is just the opposite. It has been reported that a cat has been infected by COVID 19 by its owners in Belgium.

Likewise  a dog was reported to have contracted the disease probably from its  owner in Hong Kong who was confirmed to have the disease.

Similarly the tiger who has been confirmed with COVID 19 in new York was being taken care of by an employee of the Zoo who was COVID 19 positive.

Now for God's sake can the government machinery of India whether it be television or municipal corporations convey more humane and animal friendly messages to its people. Tell people to help and feed animals rather than to kill, starve or abandon the animals which it is indirectly propogating.

COVID 19 can be annihilated only by compassion towards animals and not by cruelty towards them.

In India we are starving them, abandoning them and even killing them either by sticks or by crushing them under the wheels. The worse hit are the man's best friend.

Are we any better than China? The only difference is they kill to eat the animals and we are killing them to protect ourselves. The end result is the same. Animal cruelty
