

The Ghaziabad District Magistrate has finally sent notices to the presidents of RWAs (Resident welfare associations) of Ghaziabad. The notice is dated 12th February 2020.
The notice clearly mentions the dog rules 2001 and tells that the dogs can only be removed for the purpose of Sterilization. Relocation, killing, removing or any kind of cruelty towards dogs is s punishable offence. Stopping people from feeding them or taking care of them is also a punishable offence. RWAs found in any such activities shall get dissolved and it's members shall be prosecuted.

The municipal corporation of Ghaziabad should have come out with such a notice long back. It would have saved us all from man man conflict and the dog man conflict.
Anyway better late than never.....
