An incident of dog cruelty was reported from Inder Lok, North Delhi on 18th January 2020.
A caregiver who regularly goes to feed her dogs in Jal Board got a call in the morning that a dog has been badly butchered by a knife and is lying in blood in the Ram Leela ground.
Without losing time she went there and saw a horrific sight. She saw Sundari badly slashed with a knife lying on the ground. Quickly she sent her to a shelter where she was given treatment but as was her condition she had to die. So in spite of all prayers and medical treatment Sundari left for her heavenly abode at night. She suffered a lot of pain. Death was the best thing that could happen to her. Life was only pain and suffering for her. May her soul rest in peace.

Do the, Commissioners, Mayors, Chief Ministers and all the political leaders of India feel the pain of helpless animals who are so brutally killed in spite of having laws which protect them and provide punishment to the culprit?
Will they ever speak for them and for their rights? Or is it only the job of a caregiver and animal rights activists to ask for justice? To file an FIR and fight the legal battle?
Do they ever realize why India is so unsafe especially in the night?
The person who must have cut Sundari with a knife is definitely not a human. He is a monster in human flesh.
Such people walk on the streets of Delhi. Delhi recently has become very unpopular for women safety.
Well the reason for it is quite clear but unfortunately the government doesn't understand that.
The government comes into action and the police starts its investigation only when crime happens against women.
Crime against dog has nothing to do with law and order situation.
There is a mad man at lose and the government is not bothered. It is such mentally sick people who will later attack women and children.
And when that will happen every govt department will come into action.
It's a shame that India which preaches non violence and vegetarianism to the entire world is in reality so cruel towards its own animals.
Animal welfare laws are only on papers and not in practice
There are CCTV cameras in Delhi which have been installed by the Delhi Govt. If the govt wants they can carry out an investigation and get the culprit behind bars.
But will the govt do it?
