The RWS Pocket C, Mayur Vihar Phase 2 has deprived the dogs of their natural environment (the green area). They have come out with boards in the colony which says 'do not walk dogs in the parks'.

They however, have made no distinction between pet dogs and stray dogs.

The air pollution has already engulfed the city of Delhi. It is not only we humans who need good quality air to breath but also animals especially dogs who reside in cities along with us. It's a different matter that they live in the most inhospitable conditions inspite of animal protection laws which are in their favour and give them equal rights to live.

But how will they live?

Feeding dogs has become a nightmare for the dog feeders in the city of Delhi

You never know when the Bahubalis / RWA of the colony will manhandle you for feeding

Sterilization has become the responsibility of only the caregivers and dog feeders because the RWA do not know what is ABC Programme and even if they know they pretend as if it is some law applicable to the people of Mars.

Parks are the only green area left in cities where people go for fresh air and exercise.

Stray dog being a community animal is generally seen in parks playing and relaxing.

All the land in cities are cemented except the parks. The dogs generally sit in the parks during winters as they get warmth from the mud and during Summers because the mud is cooler.

Not just that when they have bad stomach they eat grass. The grass works as medicine for them.

And last but not the least the dogs run and play in the parks. It's good for their body.

This is applicable for both pet dogs and stray dogs.

The Delhi Government has promised funding to the RWS of pocket C, Mayur Vihar phase 2 for the upkeep and beautification of the 7 public parks in the colony but who has given the RWS the rights to ban dogs from public parks?

According to the Animal Welfare Board of India dogs cannot be deprived from entering the parks.

So by whose order and under what law has the RWS taken such an inhuman and illegal decision?

Oh yes they are worried for the swachhta of the parks. And hence have been forced to come out with such regulations and are urging the residents not to get their dogs in the parks.

Swachhta has become a weapon in the hands of the RWA all over Delhi and NCR to torture the poor animal and to harass the dog feeder / caregiver.

Is this what our honourable Prime Minister has envisioned we Indians to do?

He says 'Swatchh Bharat Swastha Bharat'

Where is Swastha here?

Dogs being deprived from parks will only make them sick. Be it a pet dog or a stray dog.

RWAs plan to solve dog overpopulation by starving them to death or making them sick and sickness will eventually lead them to death.

Is the Delhi Government aware that the funds given  by them or will be given in future for the upkeep and beautification of parks are also being used to deprive dogs from parks?

We can just hope and pray that the Government is not aware of such actions and are not supporting such mindless and irresponsible RWAs in their most enethical and inhuman act towards these voiceless souls.
