Halloween brings joy to kids and adults worldwide, yet we don't get the day off. We should get the day off and the day after Halloween off, and that's always stumped me. It's one of the big 3 holidays! You should be able to party and trick or treat without the threat of school and work. If the day after Halloween was off, children could stay up later, and so could adults without the threat of being a mess at work or school the next day. Plus, November 1st is essential for Dia De Los Muertos, just boosting the reasoning for that day to be off. One time, Halloween was on a Monday, and I was in bed by 8:00! That's insane. Weekday Halloween burns you out the next day and leaves you unsatisfied with your candy haul. This petition aims to remedy this.   I may be young, but I know a lot. and I know we all love Halloween, so sign my petition to help us out.  Every single person I know says that Halloween and the day after should be off from school. I honestly cannot think of a downside. Kids get more time with friends and family without having to worry about the next day. Plus, they get more candy. This also allows people to celebrate before trick or treating starts. You could throw a party on Halloween, and still be out to trick or treat because you wouldn't have school the next day.
