🚨 Foxland Marina Project – Second Reading & VOTE Tonight
📅 Tuesday, October 7, 2025
🕕 6:00 PM SHARP — Wear RED
📍 Gallatin City Hall — 132 W. Main St
This is it. The second reading and vote on the Foxland Harbor Marina project. Your presence can tip the scales.
Key concern: The developer’s oversized master plan does not match the Army Corps lease. Yet it’s still being pushed forward. Why?
Unanswered issue: The developer wants approval for two “multi-use” buildings—but has never explained what “multi-use” means. What exactly is being proposed? Unless you ask for a NO vote on the “multi-use” buildings, short-term rentals will be in the heart of your neighborhood!
What to say (respectful, firm, fact-based)
Slow down the process. Ask the Council to get answers directly from the developer, not subcontractors.
Demand clarity. Why is one plan shown to Council while the lease says something different?
Wrong project, wrong place. This plan is too large and too commercial for this location.
Represent the citizens. Whose side are you on—the developer’s or the residents’?
No rush. Take time to do it right.
Ask the council if they know what the developer’s plan is for the “multi-use buildings”
Take Action TODAY
Call or email your Mayor and City Council (contacts below).
Show up at 6:00 PM wearing RED. Fill the room. Be counted.
Ask for a NO vote on the “multi-use buildings”.
