Make English (Audio Description) available for The Incredible Hulk on Disney+!
The Issue
One thing that's great about Disney+ is that the streaming platform has made Audio Description available for a lot of their movies, TV shows, short films, and specials. Audio Description is available in most of the content's language options. What it is is a language track of the media in English, but with a narrator's voice dubbed over, saying exactly what's happening on the screen to accommodate blind people. The best part about it is that the audio describer never talks while a character onscreen is speaking! Disney has been really inclusive to add Audio Description to a lot of their media to accommodate blind people! Unfortunately, not all content on Disney+ has Audio Description. And the oddest film that's on Disney+ but without AD is The Incredible Hulk (2008)! Now, a lot of supporters will probably be wondering why The Incredible Hulk is the weirdest option on Disney+ not to have AD. And the reason for that is because it's the only film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be on the popular streaming service but not be accessible to blind people! Not just people like myself like Marvel movies, but blind people also do. The worst part about The Incredible Hulk not having Audio Description on Disney+ is that it's releases on DVD, YouTube, Google Play Movies & TV, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, and Amazon Prime Video have English (Audio Description) in it's language options, but not in it's releases on Blu-ray or Disney+. Despite how excluding it is to not make AD one of the language options on Blu-Ray, it's the most messed up that AD is not available in The Incredible Hulk's language options on Disney+, because it has Audio Description for so much of their content, and The Incredible Hulk, a movie that English (Audio Description) has always existed for ever since it came out in 2008, isn't being very inclusive to blind people, who deserve to have the same advantages people with vision do! Us Marvel fans really need to act, especially for the blind Marvel fans and tell Disney that we want the English (Audio Description) language for The Incredible Hulk that's available everywhere else except for on Blu-ray, to be available on Disney+! Good luck taking action! I have faith in you!
