Today is the first day of February. We ended January and started February with 79 signatures. It'll annoy me if we're so close to 80 but not quite there. We should try our best to get it to 80 and get as close to 90 by the end of the month. Preferable if 100 than 90. February may be the shortest month but that shouldn't keep us down. What gets stuff done is the ambition that comes with it. I'm here to stimulate that. I have the ambition but not always the ability to act on it all the time, as it seems like I want a lot done but nowhere near the time I need, so I ask if everyone helps as much as they can. I'm just one person and I can't do everything myself

February is Black History Month. Black voices weren't always heard and making election day a federal holiday ensures as many people from this day forward will have their voice heard.
