Today is when the election results from November get finalized. Today looks like it'll be more peaceful than 4 years ago when Trump didn't accept the results that Biden won. The Biden/Harris Administration seems to be doing a more peaceful transition and accepted Trump won this time and Harris lost. Trump seems more of a sore loser. He'll be inaugurated and officially president again two weeks from now, January 20. This is the only election where he won both the electoral vote and the popular vote. I still can't find anything about voter turnout. I believe turnout would definitely be better if election day was a federal holiday and the higher turnout would make elections more representative of the people. It could encourage everyone to be more educated on the elections.

Today is also the birthday of Trump's son Eric Trump. Eric is Trump's second son and third child overall and the last child Trump had with his wife Ivana. It's also the day Theodore Roosevelt died. He died on January 6, 1919.
