However, when I reached the payment stage, I was surprised to find ₹719 added in additional fees. Similarly, the mobile phone displayed a price of ₹39,999, yet as I proceeded, ₹458 was tacked onto the total. This isn't a matter of whether these fees are justified; it's about price transparency.
As a consumer, it is my right to know the complete cost of a product before making a purchase decision. In today's fast-paced digital world, where consumers are increasingly shopping online, the lack of clarity in pricing can lead to frustration, mistrust, and in some cases, financial strain for buyers who may not be prepared for these unexpected charges.
This practice can be misleading and subsequently erodes consumer trust.
