In 2017, Disney's animated classic "Beauty and the Beast (1991) got the live action treatment! I absolutely loved the remake! It was just as good and enchanting as the original classic! The magic, the romance, the enchanting visuals—it all captured my heart and the hearts of many Disney fans around the world. It even has a great cast which includes Emma Watson (who played Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies) as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast. In some ways, it was better than the original version. But yes, they're both great movies in their own ways!

I would absolutely love to see a live action Beauty and the Beast 2! Yes, I know the movie might not need a sequel in some ways and I don't mean to pressure Disney about all this. It's just I really think they have the creativity and imagination to come up with a continuation that captures the magic and spirit of the original movie! The original animated classic never got an actual sequel. However, it got two follow up movies which consist of "The Enchanted Christmas" and "Belle's Magical World" but they're both midquels, not sequels. Disney's amazing live action remake is their chance to explore new adventures and perhaps dive deeper into Belle and the Beast/Prince's life together in their enchanting world.

There has been rumors and speculations about a live action Beauty and the Beast for quite a while. In fact, I slightly heard that Emma Watson, who brilliantly portrayed Belle, might actually be interested in returning for a sequel. This is an exciting prospect, and one that should not be ignored. However, it's been nearly a decade since the movie graced the big screen, and despite the initial buzz and success, a sequel still hasn't happened. In fact, I don't know if Disney even has any interest in doing a sequel. However, I've recently heard that Disney has a live action Gaston spin-off Disney+ series in development. While I was hoping for a live action Beauty and the Beast 2, I'm still very grateful and excited about it! But I still think think the remake deserves a sequel very much! Why wait longer when the narrative is ripe for development and the audience is eager to return to the story they cherish?

I believe a sequel has so much potential! Imagine seeing the castle alive with its unique characters and exploring new story arcs that bring even more depth to the lore Disney has created. A sequel could rejuvenate interest in this beloved tale, create opportunities for new music worthy of its predecessor, and introduce novel characters who could become new fan-favorites.

Let's urge Disney to see how much we want a live action "Beauty and the Beast 2!" By expressing our devoted interest, we can show Disney that there exists a large, passionate audience ready to support and cherish a continuation of Belle and the Beast/Prince's magical story.
