Disney’s House of Mouse was released in 2001 to commemorate what would have been Walt Disney’s 100th birthday. It featured characters from every single Disney movie released up until then—Atlantis (Lilo & Stitch characters were in computer games). Mickey Mouse & all the major Disney characters ran the place as a nightclub providing dinner & entertainment featuring short films. Most of the shorts were reruns of Mickey Mouse Works, with some old classics thrown in as well. The overall premise is creative & impressive: just the idea of getting all these characters, heroes & villains, sidekicks & love interests, together to be entertained by Mickey Mouse & Friends is pretty much like a symbol for unity. Plus, there are a number of clever puns thrown in from every Disney movie & character you can think of.
