The issue

Caulfield Station has fallen behind – let’s change that.

With the $13 billion Metro Tunnel opening this year, Caulfield Station will become an even more critical interchange. Yet, its outdated and inaccessible design is failing passengers.

The steep ramps and lack of lifts make it difficult - or impossible - for many people, like wheelchair users, people with mobility impairments, parents with prams, and the elderly to use the station safely.

Further, its congested concourse and lack of seamless platform transfers force passengers to tap on and off just to switch platforms, adding to delays and crowding.

We call on the Victorian Government to urgently plan and construct a new concourse at Caulfield Station — one that ensures convenient, fully accessible travel for all.

The Victorian Government must commit to:

  • A new, fully accessible concourse with lifts.
  • Barrier-free platform transfers to reduce delays and congestion.

Caulfield Station must be fit for the future. The Metro Tunnel is a city-shaping project - but without an upgrade, thousands of people will be left behind.

Sign the petition today and join us in calling for an urgent upgrade. Let’s make Caulfield Station safe, accessible, and fit for the future!
