In America far to many burglaries, assaults, trafficking, and kidnappings, happen on everyday streets. About 2100 children go missing a day in America. And about every minute another woman is S.A'd or harassed. There is no true safe place anywhere even places that nobody would expect, violence occurs. And so in an unsafe world, we have to find a safe solution. And I, a girl from a rural town in 'the middle of nowhere', want to take action.

I am advocating that America funds the production and installation of Blue Light Phones all around America in places like L.A all the way to a small town in Nebraska. With this addition to safety anyone can reach their nearest Blue Light Phone to get help wherever they are. Although this seems like a big goal, With the help of our nation I strongly believe Blue Light Phones could be a common sight anywhere you go, by approximately 2040-2050.

Blue Light Phones are special phones that are connected to the USC Department of Public Safety's 24-hour communications center. When the caller picks up the phone the call will identify the location of the phone so emergency services can be sent to the location immediately. this is also important if the caller can't talk so that the police can still get help for the endangered persons. These phones can be used to ask to escort, report a crime, or suspicious activity. 

This is the next best step in making America a safe home for children, and adults, who all unfortunately are at risk of being a victim of violence. Please sign my petition, to take action.
