Being a part of the leadership in one of the most active servers in AoEM, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges and frustrations within our community. Having gathered information from other servers, the data is alarming. In just 10 short months since its release, 26% of all servers are already dying or inactive. Moreover, examining the newer servers 124+, a staggering 42% are considered dead. This is a community in distress. Our numbers are dwindling because players are choosing to quit rather than face the aggressive monetization and unyielding paywalls that plague the game. Each day, free-to-play users and small spenders are leaving, and new users are not joining.

We need urgent changes to save AoEM! The developers must make the game more free-to-play (F2P) friendly. This means removing excessive monetization barriers that divide our community and making rewards more accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial investment. Additionally, extending the seasons will allow players to fully enjoy the game's features without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by the constant pressure to pay in order to progress.

This is our plea—an appeal for immediate action to revitalize AoEM and reinforce the community spirit that brought us all together in the first place. Let's make AoEM the thriving game it has the potential to be by implementing these changes. Stand with us, support this cause, and help us make a difference.
