Jagged Little Pill the Musical has been a hit in Australia.

The Broadway production has a soundtrack - but I think there needs to be a soundtrack featuring the Australian cast. The songs are brilliant - world class - and It deserves to be immortalised in a recording.

The arts have struggled during the pandemic. This musical has brought people out to the theatre again. This soundtrack will help continue support these artists, allow audiences who’ve seen the musical to relive it over and over, and also enable those who couldn’t physically get to the theatre to access the music.

Please make a soundtrack!

Info from the official website:

“This electrifying Broadway smash-hit musical is the joyful and redemptive story we need right now.

Ignited by the seminal album that defined a generation, this life-changing production about a perfectly imperfect family in 21st century suburbia will make you jump out of your seat and remember what it’s like to feel truly human.

Starring stage and screen icon Natalie Bassingthwaighte (Chicago), Tim Draxl (A Place to Call Home), Maggie McKenna (Muriel's Wedding), and AYDAN (Fan Girls) and featuring beloved Alanis Morissette hits including ‘You Oughta Know’, ‘Head Over Feet’, ‘Hand In My Pocket’, and ‘Ironic’, JAGGED LITTLE PILL is taking Australian audiences by storm. Nominated for an outstanding 15 Tony Awards® and a Grammy® winner for Best Musical Theatre Album, this explosive production by Alanis Morissette and original story by Oscar Award winner Diablo Cody (Juno, Tully) is not to be missed.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll live, you’ll learn.”
