Make Amazon Pay for squeezing every drop from workers, communities and the planet

The Issue

Make Amazon Pay for squeezing every drop from workers, communities and the planet. Amazon warehouse workers and other stakeholders are mobilizing for the third Global Day of Action on Black Friday as "Make Amazon Pay" on 25 November, 2022. Please sign and share the petition to amplify this fight – by bringing the different strands of the Amazon struggle together we can Make Amazon Pay!

Earlier, global days of action have: supported workers across the Amazon supply chain; called out the corporation’s failure to live up to its climate pledges or pay a fair share of tax; and exposed its abuse of data and surveillance technology.

But our fight isn’t over.

While the cost-of-living crisis is hitting working people across the world and our planet keeps heating up, Amazon is squeezing every last drop it can from workers, communities and the planet. That’s why we are mobilising again on Black Friday this year.

Stakeholders are organizing actions across India including Hyderabad, Patna, Agra, Kolkata, Aurangabad, Udham Singh Nagar, Varanasi etc. Hawkers joint action committee is organizing actions in 15 cities across India. While, Gig Workers Association (GigWA) is taking actions in 11 cities across India.

Let us come together to commemorate the biggest, most diverse and powerful day of action, till date!
