Pademonium at the Plastic Period Protest!

Jul 2, 2018 — Good afternoon super supporters!

Yesterday we created Pademonium at the fantastic Plastic Period Protest on Brighton Seafront! With sunshine, positive participants and a brilliant response it really couldn't have been better!

The protest highlighted the problems of misguided flushing and the negative impact plastic period products are having on the oceans and marine life. Whilst also creating awareness of how we can all make change by switching to plastic-free options!

So many individuals and groups were getting involved including Natracare, Marine Conservation Society, City to Sea, Women's Environmental Network and Plastic Britain.

The protest has been featured in The Argus:

You can see in the article that I also got a great opportunity to speak to everyone about the petition and how many wonderful supporters (you!) have signed it.

Thank you again for your continued support!

Ella
