Hello super supporters! I would like to start by saying thank you for all the continued support. It has been fantastic to see all of your comments about how much you want this to change. Focusing on supermarkets: Most supermarkets in the U.K produce their own branded menstrual tampons and pads which are packed full of plastic. While some do have cardboard applicators and boxes they still contain plastic in the tampon itself. Therefore this has led me to add them as decision makers – a full list of which can be found on the main petition page. I will be getting into contact with them shortly and asking them what is in their menstrual products and if they would consider ditching plastic.
