Petition to Cancel "The View" for Divisive Rhetoric and Hate Speech Toward Conservative Views

We, the undersigned, call on ABC to cancel The View due to its consistent, divisive rhetoric and inflammatory speech toward conservative values and viewpoints. The View has shifted from a show promoting diverse perspectives to a platform that regularly engages in polarizing discourse, contributing to a toxic political climate.

Examples of Divisive Rhetoric and Hate Speech on The View:

1. Character Attacks on Conservative Figures

Regular derogatory comments are made about conservative political figures and public figures, often labeling them as "racist," "extreme," or "dangerous." Such commentary is not constructive and unfairly portrays conservatives as morally flawed individuals, fostering unnecessary division.

2. Insulting Remarks About Conservative Viewers

Multiple hosts on The View have disparaged conservatives as being "uneducated" or "brainwashed." This broad-brush approach is disrespectful to millions of Americans who hold conservative views and contributes to hostility and misunderstanding between citizens.

The show has exhibited a pattern of mocking and dismissing Christian beliefs. This not only alienates Christian viewers but promotes a sentiment of intolerance toward religious conservatives who uphold traditional values.
