According to study, a human body can live without food in weeks but takes only days without water. In a person's daily activities like cooking, drinking, washing clothes , and livestock water is really important. Water is a valuable thing to have in your home because a drop of it to your tap is a drop of hope for living.

In the province of Marinduque, Municipality of Buenavista, Barangay Bagtingon, water supply has been one of the major problems that many citizens experiencing in their daily lives. This issue might seems impossible to happen because this barangay is located in a mountainous area where water is sufficient, but according to them due to the lack of budget allocation barangay could not be able to afford materials to provide sufficient water for everyone living there. Some people needed to continuously wake up late at night to check if there is water in their tap and get disappointed when there is none. Because only at night there is a bigger possibility that there is a drop of water that gives them hope to fill their container that they will use for the day which in sacrifice is their time to sleep and rest.

According to the citizens, they also experience to have water in their tap during daytime but this case is rare. This only happens when the barangay would monitor and check the linings of water for repair or when there is heavy rain in their area and provide them water but only lasts for a days. The only way that they do to have water is to create a long hose that would reach a neighbor that have water supply. This water is then shared between each neighbors after one is finish.

To solve this issue will be a great help for many citizens of Bagtingon and will ease their struggles in waiting a drop in their tap that they need for everyday living.
