Make a Beach Dance Video with Minnie Mouse
The Issue
In the Clubhouse+ Season 2 episode "Mickey's Get Up and Go Day", Mickey and the gang get ready for their special pool party by doing three steps. The first is clean up, which means that the lawn has to be mowed and the leaves have to be raked. The second step is set up, which means getting out pool toys, benches, and shade from the Clubhouse closet and preparing snacks. The third and final step is suit up, where you have to change into your swimsuits before getting into the pool. The swimming suits in this episode are different than the ones we saw on the Season 1 episode "Tale of the Moo-Maids." The last time we saw Minnie and Daisy's swimsuits, they had closed-toed high heels. Now, they have changed to flip flops with a pink pedicure on Minnie's feet revealed on international television. This episode also reveals that Little Helper is waterproof, due to the fact that Professor Ludwig Von Drake made it as the Mini-Me of the Handy Helpers.
The climax of the episode shows Hilda Hippo teaching the gang how to do a water dance perfect for beginners called the Swimmy Circle. That dance has three simple moves: float in the pool face up, join hands with friends, and kick your legs as fast as possible. Due to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ being an interactive preschool series, the Swimmy Circle seems difficult to do in real life. In order to do the Swimmy Circle in real life, you have to do it at a real swimming pool.
Minnie Mouse loves to dance with her friends, including preschool viewers, so she might be the perfect choice to do a simpler step-by-step dance while wearing a swimsuit. What better place to do that than the beach because dancing at that location involves standing up. Some characters like to spend their time on the beach barefoot, but most of the Clubhouse+ characters, except for Donald and Goofy, like to spend it while wearing sandals. Since Minnie's pedicure is revealed in that Clubhouse+ episode, this might be a good chance for Disney to show a couple of closeups of her feet in her pink flip flops so kids can really follow along with the dance steps. Disney will have to make Minnie's beach dance video fun and imaginative for viewers of all ages, and the steps will have to be animated with exact care. Let's hope that Disney can grant our summer wish and make Minnie's beach dance happen.
