Hi all, exciting progress!  Our ANC rep Carol Grunewald emailed to let me know she met with a rep from the Mayor's Office regarding our traffic safety request. I pasted the note below and hope we'll have more info to share more updates after the Friday meeting. Six cars zoomed by this morning while I was trying to cross with the double stroller - we really need a stop sign!!

Dear Neighbors —

This is just a short note to tell you that I met with my contact in the Mayor’s office today with regard to your traffic safety request.  We drove through the neighborhood and discussed each location where you have requested help (a stop sign, a HAWK signal, speed bumps, or other traffic calming).

On Friday, March 7, I am meeting with my DDOT contact and we will also drive and walk through the neighborhood specifically to discuss your requests.  

I will report back to you once I hear back from both of these individuals.
