In 1967, the very first "Spider-Man" animated series aired on ABC.  The series ran for three seasons, with Grantray-Lawrence Animation producing the first season of the series and Krantz Films producing the second and third seasons.  The series featured several of Spider-Man's comic book villains, such as the Vulture, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, the Lizard, Electro, Mysterio, the Green Goblin, the Scorpion, the Rhino and the Kingpin, and several new villains for the series, such as Charles Cameo, Harley Clivendon, Dr. Noah Boddy and Parafino.

The series is one of the most iconic animated series for Spider-Man, with its memorable theme song being covered by different artists over the years such as The Ramones, Aerosmith, and Michael Bublé.  However, despite the series' popularity, there have yet to be any action figures based on the animated series from Hasbro's "Marvel Legends" toyline.  Among the characters Hasbro could make into figures from this popular animated series include --

We, the fans, would like to see Hasbro make some "Marvel Legends" figures based on the 1967 "Spider-Man" animated series in 2027 for the series' 60th anniversary year.
