DSBN Arabic Language Classes will be on Saturday

We have some great news! 🎉

Thank you so much to everyone who signed the petition and supported the request to keep the DSBN International Languages Elementary Arabic Language Program on Saturdays. Your support and participation made a difference. 

We are happy to share that, based on the survey preferences, Saturday morning Arabic classes will continue for the remainder of the school year.

Starting: Saturday, October 3, 2026
 Location: Governor Simcoe Secondary School
15 Glenview Avenue, St. Catharines
Class Time: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Student Drop-off: 9:00–9:15 a.m.
Student Pick-up: 11:45 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Please note that Friday, September 25 is the last Friday class at St. Catharines Collegiate Secondary School. Students may attend that class if they wish.

After September 25, Arabic classes will take place on Saturdays as outlined above.

A special thank you to every parent and family who signed the petition, shared it, and supported keeping Arabic classes on Saturdays. Your voices and support helped bring attention to the concerns of families in our community. ❤️
