Dear Supporters and Stakeholders,

The Magistrate Court of Fulton County would like to express its sincere gratitude for your support in advocating for increased funding for the Fulton County Magistrate Court. Your willingness to sign and share the petition, engage in discussions, and raise awareness has been invaluable in this effort.

As you may know, the Board of Commissioners recently voted on the Fulton County Government’s budget for fiscal year 2025, and unfortunately, the Magistrate Court's budget was not increased to meet our critical needs for staffing. While this outcome is quite disappointing, it does not mark the end of our advocacy. As a Court we will continue to push for the necessary resources to ensure we can effectively serve our community.

Our work is not over. We will now shift our focus toward the next budgetary cycle in 2026, continuing to highlight the urgent need for funding to support the Magistrate Court and our staff’s critical role in handling eviction cases, small claims, and other essential matters that impact thousands of residents, leaders, and business owners. Your continued engagement through our email list, following our Instagram @FultonMagistrate, and attendance & advocacy at future Board of Commissioners meetings will be essential as we strategize on these next steps. Your effort is valued, and your voice will always be heard with us.
