Madison Square Garden was planning on hosting The Cowboy Channel's Rodeo event in the spring or summer of 2020.  Then Covid hit and the show was postponed. MSG never rescheduled the full blown rodeo, but it hosts the Professional Bull Riders' event every year in January, and every year there are protests against that event. No rodeo act -- whether it be bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing, saddle bronc, team roping, steer wrestling, or tie down roping, is free of animal abuse. These are nothing more than horrific acts of violence towards defenseless terrified animals, many of whom are mere babies ripped from their mothers.

Fractures and other extremely serious injuries are common occurrences in all rodeo acts, including bull riding.  Some animals get killed in the event, or must be euthanized after due to the severity of their agonizing injuries. In addition to their physical injuries, they are subjected to mental torment and terror. The notion that animal torture and violence is "entertainment" must be abolished. MSG should be ashamed of itself, and it should NOT HOST ANY RODEO EVENT. Tell MSG, STOP HOSTING BULL RIDING.  Animal torture and terror is NOT entertainment!
