In July of 2015, Macy's publicly denounced Donald J. Trump's racist remarks about Mexican immigrants on the campaign trail, stating:

"In light of statements made by Donald Trump, which are inconsistent with Macy's values, we have decided to discontinue our business relationship with Mr. Trump and will phase-out the Trump menswear collection, which has been sold at Macy's since 2004."

Despite these comments, the company continues to carry Ivanka Trump's line of products, including her misses apparel collections, outerwear, and shoes.

On November 30, 2016 President-Elect Donald Trump has confirmed that he will be stepping away from his businesses and placing them under the care of his children, including Ivanka Trump, while he assumes the office of the presidency.  Thus, Ivanka Trump will be profiting from and making business decisions for Donald J. Trump's private label.

As Macy's promised to discontinue their business relationship with Donald Trump in 2015, and again stated they had no plans to bring his merchandise back to their stores as of November 10, 2016, they must now take a stand against the woman whose business ties to the Trump Brand create a conflict of interest with Macys, Inc.

Macy's must remove Ivanka Trump's merchandise from their stores, just as they removed Donald Trump's merchandise in 2015.
