I hope all of you are well. I sadly have some bad news regarding this campaign, that was set up by me in September, petitioning to get M.A.C Cosmetics and Amy Winehouse’s family/estate at The Amy Winehouse Foundation to come together get a Amy her own makeup line, dedicated to her in her memory and to celebrate her iconic image.
It is with great sadness that I can now reveal that I will be closing the petition permanently, due to Amy's father, Mitch’s final email to me tonight, stating that they cannot endorse the project. I have no other details on why they won’t endorse it, so please don’t ask. Here is a copy of the email Mitch sent me last night;

You should have asked the family before you did all this hard work.
While we very much appreciate everything that you are doing helping to keep Amy’s memory alive, we cannot endorse this project in any way.
So please don’t go to any more trouble.

As much as I am disappointed with a short and harsh response from Mitch, as well as them not showing any appreciation for the hard work we have done, I know that I tried my best to get the family to endorse it and for Amy, I tried my best - I hope she's smiling down on us. I want to thank all of you for being such amazing and beautiful supporters of this petition. We managed to reach out to Amy’s mother, stylist & backing singers, as well as MAC’s head office listening to Amy's fans in New York and got over 3K signatures, without any media help and I seriously could not have got this far without you all!
I want to particularly thank Amy's fans that have been truly encouraging and also done incredible artwork for it! It is sad that her family do not want to endorse this project, but you never know. Maybe one day in a few years we could get something similar to this. This petition was my baby for a long time and it would have been amazing as a fan to have made positive change to Amy’s legacy and see it work. I am so sorry to all of you that I have to close it, but I cannot go against Amy’s family’s wishes. Amy Winehouse will forever be my Queen and I will always treasure her and her music in my own way forever. I will also still keep this page and change it to more of an Amy fan page, so I ain’t going anywhere! Amy, I love you and hopefully one day you will get a makeup line with MAC, as you deserve it!
