WE NEED MEDIA INVOLVEMENT - ANY KIND!!!
Hello to all the AWFM supporters!
We really need to work hard now and try to get some form of media attention with this campaign now, REALLY! It has been very hard and difficult trying to get in contact with certain magazines and particular celebrities that Amy was friendly with and sadly, I have had no response yet. Luckily, for the Aaliyah for MAC campaign, they immediately had the support of singer, Missy Elliot from the very beginning, which then got the media involved - so they pretty much got lucky, which I don't think is very fair as we are working just as hard, if not harder. Whereas we are doing this from scratch and haven't had any high-end celebrities supporting us or magazines reach us yet. It makes me very sad to be honest that I am working hard with many of Amy's other fans to try and make this makeup line with MAC work for Amy Winehouse. It seems that people are not even wanting to try and see the beauty in what we are doing and the hardwork we are putting into it. I must also say, I have emailed her father Mitch and the foundation multiple times, yet no response. I struggle sometimes to keep going with this, but as one of Amy's biggest fans, I strive to carry this on and eventually, in time, 2,5,8 or 10 years, whatever, WE WILL MAKE THIS AMY X MAC LIMITED EDITION HAPPEN!
It is very crucial now that we have some media involved. So if any of you have any connections what so ever with a magazine, newspaper, celebrity or high end makeup/beauty influencer, please help this petition to be successful and increase it's signatures. We have been working so so hard and it is about time we receive some knowledge for it, even if it is the smallest smidge of attention, we do deserve it! I would highly appreciate it if you could take the time to help this and reach out to people that will potentially help.
