I am starting this petition to stop Daisy Howard from trying to have my hometowns name changed. She does not understand the history of our town, she just doesn't like the name.  She no longer lives in Lynchburg, she lives in Maryland.
If we allow someone from a different state to try and mandate what happens in Lynchburg, Va. then whats to stop them from trying to say what businesses can move here?
This insanity has got to be stopped. What will happen next if we allow this. Anyone with the last name Lynch, will they ask them to change their name, or worse move?

This insanity of trying to remove historical statues in Virginia is heartbreaking in itself. They are trying to erase History. Maya Angelou said , I have a great respect for the past. If you don’t know where you’ve come from, you don’t know where you’re going.
The murder  of George Floyd Was horrible.
What these radicals are trying to do to destroy businesses, monuments, and now our hometown name is uncalled for. These radicals are not just affecting our state they are affecting our God Given Rights as Americans.
Will our churches be the next to be removed, our rights to worship where and how we choose..none of these things are far off from being next.
