Lydia busted her tail for over 4 years to accumulate 106 credit hours and an 3.19 GPA towards a Bachelors of Science in Business at Texas A&M University-Central Texas.  Unfortunately, Lydia passed away after spending 30 days in the hospital fighting for her life.  While lying in the hospital, she communicated to her professors and promised to make up assignments, while simultaneously trying to heal from three abdominal surgeries. Although Lydia was less than 15 semester hours short of graduation, Student Affairs informed me that they would not grant her an honorary degree.  Their claim was that Lydia wasn't enrolled in her final classes although she couldn't enroll, due to being in the hospital.  Please support my wife in encouraging Texas A&M- Central Texas grant an honorary degree for all of the hard work that she did in college while also raising three children and receiving routine treatments for Stage 4 Inflammatory Breast Cancer.
