Thank you continuing to share and show support towards our campaign to lower the bowel cancer screening age. I do feel it’s incredibly important to continue to push the government into looking into the screening age. My feeling is, if it can happen to my brother at the age of 44, it can happen to anyone. Bowel cancer is a killer and the best way to treat any patient is to detect cancer far earlier on.  Not only is there better treatment options available, screening can save lives. And will surely save the NHS millions in the long run, not to mention the heartbreak we all feel losing a love one to this cruel disease.

Since my meeting with our local MP, there has been no word or response as yet from the Health minster, regarding our campaign. I suspect they are thoroughly looking into the statistics and current research. I am hoping to hear from them soon. In the meantime, will keep sharing and pushing for action on lowering the screening age.
