The purpose of this petition is to ask the NB Minister of Transportation to lower the speed limit on the section of the King George Highway from Ferry Road to the eastern city limits of the City of Miramichi in Millbank from 90km/hr to 70km/hr.   My daughter was struck and killed on this section of road 8 years ago.  I often see people walking on the side of the road as speeding cars go by.  I believe this is the only section of 90km/hr road in the City of Miramichi but that the Minister of Transportation is the one who has the power to change this.  Please sign this petition and save lives.  Thank you
