Self defense is a basic fundamental right afforded to us by the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution and has continuously been under fire from thee federal government. Several states have already passed the constitutional carry law for lawful purposes such as self defense. Louisiana needs to follow suit for the safety of its residents. "As of August 16th, 2013 Arkansas no longer prohibits open or concealed carry without a permit so long as it is done for lawful purposes, such as self-defense." The State of Louisiana needs to get on board NOW.
