Senator Cassidy betrayed his Louisiana constituents by voting with democrats on the constitutionality of former President Trump's impeachment trial.  He should know that democrats are weaponizing this serious matter to prevent Trump from being able to hold a future elective position. He joined the ranks of other "republicans" whose conservative position has always been questioned: Romney, Collins, and Murkowsky.

70+ million Americans voted for Donald Trump in the last election, giving him a resounding approval of his presidential term.  Louisiana gave him a resounding approval and our electoral votes went to him.  It is obvious what his constituents wanted and he has forgotten that he represents us.  He is one of those politicians who thinks that he can forget that he is in Congress to represent us.  If he is not representing the people who voted for him, then he should be replaced by someone who will.
